I was trying out my new Canon EOS 5D – I got a telephone line jack and a large permanent marker pen together on a sheet of A4 paper and positioned them next to each other. As it was late at night I had to use a temporary source of light which came from my table lamp and a torch. I adjusted the cameras fstop and aperture to blast the image with light. It was then imported in to Photoshop where I duplicated the layer several times and used various layer blending modes to give a translucent affect.
